Packet Weeds

2017

Packet Weeds is a project that draws from ideas and works in art and digital media that examine how agency and power can be usurped, supplemented, or intensified in our interactions with technology. It borrows methods from meditation, practices in data visualization, and Tactical Media to better illustrate and respond to the reality of our relationship to the systems that own and support the hidden aspects of the internet. With Packet Weeds, one can engage with the internet in a mindful, pragmatic, and constructive way, reclaiming some sense of power within a hierarchical and hegemonic infrastructure.
